Weather forecast

Dry weather is forecast in most areas on Tuesday morning, but with a good deal of cloud and a few patches of rain near Atlantic coasts.

Patchy rain and drizzle will develop more widely across western and northwestern counties during the afternoon, according to Met Éireann.

Elsewhere, it will be largely dry, but with the chance of the odd light shower.

Highest temperatures will range between 15°C to 18°C in moderate to fresh southerly winds with mist over some coasts and hills.
