he 50-year-old is known as the presenter of popular shows such as This Morning and The Great British Bake Off. She has also appeared on a host of reality TV shows, including Celebs Go Dating.

Speaking candidly, Alison explained: "I don't like to swear on telly." Josh joked: "It would be bad if you are on This Morning and you swore."
Alison however says she rarely swears on the Smart TV panel show, presented by Rob Beckett and starring Josh as well. She said: "I don't do it anyway. Have you noticed I don't do it on Smart TV either?".

"I think the TV cameras go on and my mouth goes. I'm not saying I never swear, I just don't do it on television."
Josh informed her that profanity was permissible on the podcast, yet Alison maintained: "It just feels really weird."
During their chat, Alison even shared her preferred euphemism "BS" for coarse language, prompting Josh to spell out "B***s***". He then compared swearing on a podcast to the infamous incident where Match of the Day's Gary Lineker used a strong expletive while speaking about England on his own podcast.
Alison Hammond first graced our screens on the third series of Big Brother, where she was the second contestant to leave the house. She later joined This Morning as a reporter and ascended to one of the main presenting roles in 2021.
Her television journey didn't stop there; Alison has also shown her moves on Strictly Come Dancing, entered the Celebrity Big Brother house, and braved the challenges of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!. Despite these ventures, there's one BBC programme she's repeatedly declined.
On an episode of her Smart TV podcast, Gyles Brandreth shared with Alison his perfect evening would include watching Bargain Hunt. He revealed: "I have been on, because I'm such a big fan, they invited me to take part, in an old codgers vs young people."
Gyles expressed his fondness for the show, saying: "Bargain Hunt is the most reliable, feel-good show I know, it's intelligent, the presenters are delightful, and the game is clever. Essentially, yes, you're sent out, given an hour to buy three items, one of them has to cost £75 and you have to sell them and make a profit, it's quite difficult to do."
He added that the show not only educates viewers about antiques and collectibles but also showcases the wonderful variety of people in the country: "During the course of the show, if you like antiques and collectibles, which I do, you do learn about that. But also, it reminds you how most people in this country are lovely, they have every type of person there."
However, Alison wasn't swayed by Gyles's enthusiasm as she critiqued his television choices, stating bluntly: "I have been asked to do Bargain Hunt, I don't want to do it, and I don't want to watch it."
